John W. Buckley, Esq.

General Counsel, Vice President of Government Affairs

Mr. Buckley serves as General Counsel and Vice President of Government Affairs for Futrfab. He is a graduate of the Syracuse University School of Law and brings more than 20 years of engineering and technology related legal experience to his role as the Board’s Secretary.

Beginning his career on the staff of IBM’s Treasurer, Mr. Buckley rose to the position of Senior State and Local Tax Counsel. In 1995, he became General Counsel for MiCRUS, a semiconductor manufacturing joint venture between IBM and Cirrus Logic. In 2000, Philips Semiconductor Manufacturing named him as its General Counsel where he launched and managed the corporate legal department of a subsidiary of the multinational company.

Mr. Buckley is admitted to the bars of New York State and the U.S. Tax Court. John has served as a Board Member for the Economic Development Corporation of Dutchess County, NY and as a member of the General Counsel and Government Affairs Committees of the New York Business Council.
